New Moon - Stephenie Meyer
Cullen I organize a party for Bella's eighteenth birthday, during which she cut with a pack of paper, causing the reaction of the hungry Vampire Jasper. The rest of the family protects it, but everyone is shocked by the event. While Bella is hoped that the episode also convinced Edward to make her a vampire, Edward ends up in the press that he decided to leave with his family, and no longer in love with her.
Bella spends the terrible months and finally able to recoup some of its vitality starting to attend his friend Jacob, which creates shaky friendship that Jacob agrees hoping for something more in the future.
but always hopelessly in love with Bella and Edward while trying desperately not to deceive Jacob also face a trip that transmit in contact with the Cullens in Forks and the presence of strange animals ... particularly dangerous
New to the second novel in the Meyer: werewolves. Despite the introduction of this figure in the person of Jacob memories a bit 'too much of the triangle novels by Laurell K. Hamilton, I must confess that I particularly liked. Edward, the fascinating and mysterious vampire, in my opinion (an opinion shared by few people, though) fades in the face of Jacob Sun, who brings back the good humor to Bella and all those around him, desperately in love with her but willing to receive only friendship. The group of werewolves, all local ethnic Indians, to protect the site from vampires, I was fascinated. Fans of Edward lynch me, but I hope you change your mind and Bella fall in love with Jacob.
